***Judge Romero was appointed to the Ventura County Superior Court by Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr., on November 29, 2012.  He is a life-long Ventura County resident.  He is a graduate of California State University Northridge and the University of California’s Hastings College of Law.  He served as a Senior Deputy District Attorney in Ventura County and was a member of that office from 1999 until his appointment.
